I personally rating really depends on the persons point of view regarding a pianos value and how he/she would rate this piano. For instance, every single piano that we see, has a value to its owner and has a value to society. Depending on society, the value or rating of the piano is going to vary. That is why, I personally think that having a line drawn for a specific piano as a rating, is very hurtful for those that have not yet experimented the piano itself.

This is why I would definitely encourage anyone to go and try out any type of piano that they want to buy instead of just reading any review out there over the internet. Although these reviews help in many ways, and really are very close to the piano rating itself, it does not really suffice for a clear 100% truthful rating. This is because it really will vary from pianist to pianist, in such an extreme way, that you you’re self sometimes will be amazed on how good a piano is for you, and probably have read that the piano had a low score.

Piano rating will definitely and by all means depend on the sole need of the user, and that is why I encourage anyone to go out in search and test out personally any type of piano that fits their specific needs.
