It isn’t surprising that this new track has received the airplay that it has. Not just because of the fan base that Coldplay has in its cherished possession but because they consistently release music that inspires and intrigues the listener. Front man Chris Martin’s almost dreamlike singing voice takes every song on a swooping crescendo and then back out of each chorus to bring the listener back to start the entire experience again. It seems with each new song his fans wait with eager expectancy for their next serving of lyrical caviar.

Coldplay have released to date eight albums and five extended play albums.  Their musical output has been consistent since their forming in 1997 and since then have go on to produce some very memorable tracks. Always have their songs conveyed feelings of loss mixed with triumph, bittersweet recollections and above all love. ‘Every teardrop is a Waterfall’ is no exception. Listening to this track takes the listener on something of a rollercoaster ride. Previously released samplings are used on this track to good effect. The samplings are taken from an Argentinian band The Sacados, who released a song called ‘Ritmo de la Noche’ in the 90’s. From the very beginning of the track we are presented in the video with a vista of brickwork. Walls and walls of gray brick stand before us and fill the screen. Nothing can be seen except gray brick until slowly a mural of a dark cityscape appears on the wall with a rising orange sun behind. The start of the track is also accompanied by energetically strummed guitar strings which because of their sharp and high pitched timbre remind us of a new beginning with their almost church like sound.

‘Every teardrop is a Waterfall’ begins as the camera pans to the right and centers on front man Chris martin whose first words are ‘I turn the music on, I shut the world outside…’. Prime colored letters are strewn loosely on the ground as we are greeted by the scene of a disused condominium complex. The entire complex looks rundown and deserted. The lyrics of the track together with the now driving beat from drums and bass combine to give a feeling of hope and optimism as Martin stares off camera to his hopeful horizon. More lyrics from the song which remind me of a child’s version of sheet music are written across the gray brick walls as Martin continues to tell his musical story. The lettering seems to tell us of missed childhood dreams and hopes as it scrawls itself in stop motion filming. Coldplay use this filming technique to great effect as we are drawn into their world as the music carries us forth on its infectious beat. The guitar and drums really pull the listener in as the tune unfurls its heady motion.

Coldplay continually bring the listener to hear their story as the living sheet music that is their video unwinds continually revealing their inner struggle. Children are uppermost in this song.  ‘…. Kids they dance.., I’m on a roll this time and heaven is in sight.’ This lyrical passage gives a feeling that we must return to our innocence. Nowadays our innocence is transformed into squeezing every last gram of escapism that can be had on our weekends off. It seems that Martin knows that we all feel that on the weekends we can dream that heaven is in sight. Sheet music seems to be a prominent aspect in this track but in a more surreal understanding of the word. We are all sheet music ready to be seen by those who can read us properly but sheet music seems to be available to a select few or only to those who can read the sheet music of our lives. Coldplay to be sure, must look at their own sheet music and chuckle to themselves knowing the significance in everyone’s lives of having a story to tell.

Coldplay’s ‘Every tear is a Waterfall’ can tell us much about ourselves. It makes us feel in each lyric that we may not be perfect but we have the right to be heard. Also we have the right to be ourselves. Once again Coldplay bring is back to ourselves and show us that we all feel the effects of our lives and the trials that we have to bear. They tell us that we should keep the spirit of the rebel in our hearts and to have concern about each other all the way into following generations. They tell us to be a comma instead of a full stop in order to tell us that we have much to give for all of our lives not just for the moment but forever.

‘Every tear is a Waterfall’ shows us that it is alright to express how you feel about your circumstances. It is alright to show the people that you love how much you feel. It is also alright to be yourself in all situations so as to give to others without reserve or judgment. There is a feeling of immediate hope and optimism in the driving guitar breaks that permeate Coldplay’s ‘Every tear is a Waterfall’. The guitar sheet music is something that I would like to acquire soon as its church like sound floats through the track in memory of open meadows and foggy British moors. Coldplay bring the listener further with this soul stirring track accompanied by its thoughtful lyrics. Martin’s voice lends an entreating appeal to the heart of all who listen to this as he runs sometimes childlike through the slowly colored brickwork. Twisting and turning, sometimes sitting with arms around his knees he brings us back to our childhood innocence and wonder amidst jerking camera angles and pulsing strobe lights. The almost Celtic and traditional sounding to the guitar rhythm makes us feel a sense of loss for earlier times. The combined usage of the childhood elements coupled with a sense of rebirth makes us feel that we are all looking for a rebirth in this song as Coldplay remind us in ‘ I swear you emerge blinking into…’. But also we feel a sense that we all at times need reassurance sometimes when they say ‘to tell me it’s alright…’.

Towards the middle of the song we feel somewhat introverted in ourselves as scenes become more psychedelic when mixed with garishly painted walls and stuttering strobe lights. We feel this is the adult part of our lives being played out as if we know what we are doing. A sense of being unsure about life carries forward until the song breaks into a really upbeat and positive rhythm. Finally we feel released from our doubts, whereby sheetmusic leave us with a new acceptance of our lives and each other as one of the coolest bands in the world audibly fade in volume and our own expectations for their next great song begins.

It is absolutely true that we should not care what they say and do what is natural to us, with someone sexy. After all, we may not get another chance tomorrow. This song makes me want to get out on the floor and dance.

The lyrics and beat are perfect for clubs and for jamming at home with the speakers turned up so loud the windows rattle. This is truly one of Pibull’s best songs, the effort he puts into this song is exceptional. Of course he has the help of Ne-Yo and Nayer, which is in my opinion a phenomenal combination of vocals.

This song has so many realistic meanings rolled into one incredible sheetmusic song. It can make anyone on the dance floor tempted to see what the night holds with their dance partner. It is easy to find yourself dancing dirty to this song.

The lyrics are combined in a manner that literally speaks of true unbridled passion. One thing that I like about the song is that it is done in a manner of ‘Excuse me if I drink too much and Excuse me for wanting to take you home if I could tonight’. It delivers an apologetic, yet true meaning, after having a few drinks it is easy to blurt out secret desires to someone sexy.

In a manner of speaking I think this song brings the reality of how normal it is to desire someone that appeals to us. And though it may take a few drinks to admit it, it is perfectly normal and acceptable to do so. Especially with someone who promises to give it their all.

As a musician, playing other people’s music can lead to inspiration in creating your own songs. This song does not have a complicated construction, making it easy to learn, either by rote or by reading the sheet music. It is an excellent example of a song not needing to be deep or necessarily thought provoking to be fantastic. Britney had to cope up a dark stage of her life and a falling career. Despite her downfalls, I have always admired her for being a versatile artist. She can sing for teenagers and sing for adults. She can be both cute and sexy. I do not see any boastfulness in her character as well.

During the release of the hit  single,  Hold It Against Me in March 2011, I was really happy because Britney is back on track again. She is moving like a pro just like the old times. A lot of criticisms may have been thrown at her but she remains standing and still a hit to music lovers. Many people still buy her albums worldwide. This cool and upbeat song is one of the reasons why I cannot get my earphones off my ears. It is very catchy and it makes me want to dance to the tune every time I hear it. Once again, David has proven that he is the master when it comes to creating and collaborating cool music with famous artists. This song is all about having a good time and finding hot and sexy girls in the club. The rap was done perfectly by Flo Rida making it more catchy and snappy while Nicki Minaj has also successfully added her own flavor to the song making it even more spectacular. Because of the song’s popularity, there is already an available sheetmusic for piano and guitar for this awesome song. I was even thrilled to have my own sheetmusic and enjoy the song while playing my guitar.

In summary, all I could say is that I consider David as one of the best house DJs of all time. He has consistently created songs that have received great recognitions from the public. In fact, this amazing DJ has already won numerous awards for his great works. He even has cool music videos that are really fun to watch. Without a doubt, David Guetta is one of my favorite artists and musicians of all time.

The “sticks and stones may break my bones, but chains and whips excite me,” is the part of the song I like the most. I do not why, but that particular line sticks out to me. I like the video for this song too. I thought that it was very cool and creative. I know that it got banned in some countries, but I honestly do not think that it is that bad. In fact, I have seen worse videos on music channels.

S &M is definitely on the list of my favorite songs by Rihanna. I like the beat and the lyrics (despite the fact that the lyrics are a little dirty.) I think that whoever came up with the sheetmusic for this song is very creative and deserves to be commended.

I know Rihanna has since released a new album, but I still want to get her fifth album, Loud just because I like S&M so much. The thing that I like about this singer is that she is not afraid to push the envelope and do things that shock the media and  her fans.

Despite the fact that I labeled the song ‘techno-esque’, it does have a melody, and is comprised of actual notes. It seems to be stuck somewhere there is no label for. The song is not truly techno, but neither is it the angry, hard rock that is so popular. This is, however, one of the instances where labels truly don’t matter, since the music speaks for itself. The beat of the song perfectly accents the driving sexuality of the lyrics, and the song manages to be potently sexual without any of the vulgarity that I am so used to hearing, which, I must admit, is a relief.

Simply put, this song is a perfect backdrop to most male gatherings and some female ones. It is the classic ‘club song’ with a beat that lends itself wonderfully to many kinds of dancing, as well as lyrics that make people want to drink and have sex. I would not advocate trying to gain the sheetmusic for it, though, unless you have someone to lyrically accompany you. I don’t think this song would be served well by taking out the lyrics. It would still have the beat and drive, but it would be missing something important.
